Our Curtain Wall Glazing Systems comply with international quality standards. In addition to meeting client’s specifications, following points should be ensured while designing the Curtain wall:

• Aluminium sections: Colour anodized for main frame (Tubular Shape) consisting of horizontals and verticals designed to withstand wind pressure upto 150kg/m2 in additions to supporting dead load are provided. Assembly is made to ensure proper drainage of water.


• Frame work is made with vertical and horizontal tubular sections with provision for weather stripping. Joints are provided to ensure water drainage system.

ALUMINIUM FRAME

• Vertical: 100 x 55 (2.2 kg/mt)


• Horizontal: 62 x 55 (1.8 kg/mt)


• Glazing Plate: 6 x 55 (0.53 kg/mt)


• Cover Channel: 15 x 56 (0.32 kg/mt)


• EPDM gasket is fixed on all four edges of glass ensure proper holding & weather tightness.

GLASS:

• 6mm plain tinted or reflective glass manufactured by recommended agencies will be provided.


• The glass to be cut square as per required size and edges are grinded.


• Coated surface shall be inside. It shall not be allowed to have direct contact with any metal.

HARDWARE:

• CLAMPS-Properly designed clamps to withstand the loads and pressures will be used (Galvanized M.S. or Aluminium alloy). Holding Down Bolts shall be 10mm dia S.S. or M.S. properly treated to withstand corrosive action. Stainless steel bolts will be used to clamp aluminium verticals to clamps. The clamps shall be designed to allow vertical movement of frame due to temperature variation.


• All other bolts / screws etc. shall be of properly treated materials.


• All gaskets, packing shall be EPDM, Neoprene of Nylon for long life.

FIXING:

• Brackets to be fixed to slab / beam after properly marking the layout of verticals.


• Main frame will be fixed to these brackets and then aligned to get perfect panel openings.


• Glass shall be placed on the supporting legs of main frame with proper rubber packing on all four sides. Glazing plate is screwed to main frame holding glass firmly. Channel cover is fixed over the plate after ensuring that proper slots are provided for water drainage.
